- We are seeking a Structural Engineer to assist with:
- Performing the design work by utilizing specifications applicable to that project,
- design drawings:
- Soil Classification Report AS 2870
- Raft Footing AS 2870
- Structural Design Actions AS 1170
- Wind Load for Housing AS 4055
- Steel Structures AS 4100
- Cold Formed Steel Structures AS 4600
- Timber Structures AS 1720
- Residential Timber Framed Construction AS 1684
- Storm water Drainage, AS 3500.3
- Parking Layout & Sweeping Diagram AS 2890.1
- Concrete Structures AS 3600
- Swimming Pools AS 1170, AS 3600, AS 2783
- Retaining Wall AS 4678 (Sleeper Wall, Besser Block)
- Masonry Structures AS 3700
- Piling Design AS 2159
- Preparation of reports, designs, and drawings.
- Compiling the data required for structural design plans & specifications.
- Making a calculation of loads and stresses.
- Conducting preliminary studies of proposed projects to obtain information as to space
- and design requirements, obtaining measurements and making sketches preliminary
- to the preparation of drawing.
- Preparation of scale drawing of details required for contract drawing.
- Preparation of layout and draws a preliminary sketch of the project to present to the
- client.
- Inspecting properties to check structural conditions/ foundations.
Qualification
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Skill & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Working knowledge of the construction industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated individual
- Having ability work independently
- Having a good understanding of the fundamentals of civil & structural engineering
